GiWiArch:- detailed explanation with pictures.

GiWiArch aka Giants, Wizards and Archers are a very powerful combo for farming, trophy pushing and Clan War (though you cannot usually use it in Clan War after TH 7). This strategy is very effective from TH 5 to TH 9. You will always get at least 1 or 2 star (sometimes 3 star also) by using this strategy.

As I have mentioned above the main troops used in this strategy are mainly three in number. Beside those, you have to take Wall Breakers and Healing spells (for TH 5 Lightning spell). The main plan is, to take down the CC troops at first, tank with the Giants and clear with the Archers and Wizards. So let's start with the troop composition:-

Town Hall 5:-

Giants:- 10-12 (any level)
Archers:- 30-40(any level)
Wizards:- 8-10(any level)
Wall Breakers:- 3-5(any level)

Lightning Spell:- 1
CC troops:- Any

Town Hall 6:-

Giants:- 12-14 (at least level 2)
Archers:- 30-40
Wizards:- 10-12
Wall Breakers:- 3-5

Healing spell:- 2
CC troops:- Any

Town Hall 7:-

Giants:- 12-15
Archers:- 40-50
Wizards:- 15-20
Wall Breakers:- 3-5

Healing spell:- 3
CC troops:- Any

TOWN HALL 8:-

Same as TH 7.

Healing spell:- 3
Poison Spell:- 1

CC troops:- Any
CC spell:- 1 Poison/Haste

Town Hall 9:-

Giant:- 15-18
Wizards:-20-30
Archers:- 30-40

Healing spell:- 3
Jump spell/Rage spell:- 1
Poison Spell:- 1

CC troops:- Any
CC spell:- 1 Poison Spell.

Now I will explain how can you use this strategy without making any mistakes. As I have mentioned previously, in this strategy, Giants will take all the damages and your Archers and Wizards will clear up the base. But if your Giants go straight inside the base and your Wizards don't follow them, then your attack would failed. To prevent this, you have to make a clear funnel so that the Wizards would surely follow your Giants.

Funneling is a very important part for attacking in Clash of Clans. This is necessary for most of the attacks. As you cannot control the target of your troops manually after deployment. So the least thing you can do is to make only one possible way for your troops to go inside of the base. This is called funneling. To create the funnel, you have to deploy 1 or 2 Giants first as a tanking unit, after that, send couple of Wizards to destroy the buildings which are situated in the sides. Once these buildings are cleared, your Wizards have nothing to do without following your Giants. Let me show you how you can make a perfect funnel to make way for your troops.

When the funnel is made, send one Giant or Wall Breaker near the Clan Castle to investigate if there is any defensive CC Troops or not (for multiplayer battle only. In Clan War, you can see it just by clicking on the Clan Castle). If there is any CC troops, take them in a corner and kill them.

After the CC is killed, send your Giants in a row. Behind them, send your Wall Breakers. Be careful about this, observe the firing break of the defences such as Wizard tower or Mortars because they can kill all your Wall Breakers at once and your Giants may slow down. So try to save them from such damages (until you are not experienced enough to deploy Wall Breakers at apposite time, take more Wall Breakers, like 6 or 7, so that if you do a mistake, you have more Wall Breakers to resolve this).

Then deploy all your Archers and Wizards behind the Giants to smash the base.

Caution:-
*If you are at Town Hall 9 and have a Jump spell, place it wisely so that you can access at least 3 or 4 compartments.

**Use your Poison spells on Heroes as your Giants would not attack them until all the defenses are finished. The Poison Spell will help your troops by completely taken down by the Heroes.

Pros:-
*Very efficient for farming, trophy pushing.
**Takes relatively less time and elixir than other heavy attacks.
***As it costs the minimum amount of Dark Elixir, it is good to farm them by using this strategy.

Cons:-
*You can easily get 3 star from the lower Town Hall bases, but for the same TH level, this strategy can't guarantee a 3 star always.
